Weston Kids (In Person) Will Resume Oct.17th
The Weston Kids team has been working very hard to resume Weston Kids, in person. On Sunday, Oct.17th at 10:30am Weston Kids will resume in person. Weston Kids will resume in the following phases.
Phase 1: Oct.17th, 2021, only children that are in grades Jk-3(as of September 2021). will be able to attend Weston Kids, in person.
Phase 2: 2022- Preschool children will be able to attend Weston Kids.
Phase 3: 2022- Grades 4-5 will be able to attend Weston Kids.
Q: Do Children have to wear masks?
A: All children JK and older will be required to wear a mask while in children’s ministry areas. Leaders will also be required to wear masks at all times.
Q. What time does Weston Kids start and end?
A: Weston Kids will start at 10:30AM and end when the Sunday Service ends.
Q: Is social distancing being practiced at Weston Kids?
A: As much as possible, we are implementing social distancing. Obviously, young children are constantly on the move, however, room capacity limitations will minimize the number of kids in the room. Games will also keep social distancing in mind as well as reducing activities that involve shared contact with objects or each other.
Q: Will drop off and pick up change?
A: Yes. We ask that one parent accompanies their child(ren) to the Weston Kids Check-in area (on the lower level). Note: Weston Kids Check-in will only be available for 10 minutes (10:40 am) after the service starts. After 10:40am no children will be permitted in the Weston Kids area.
Check-Out: We ask that one parent comes to check out their child(ren), immediately following the Sunday Service.
Q: Do I have to register my child in order for them to attend Weston Kids (In Person)?
A: Yes. All children must be registered to attend Weston Kids. Click here to register your child.
Q: Are the rooms being cleaned?
A: We’ve always provided clean learning environments, but in order to increase safety, the Weston Kids area, rooms and bathrooms will be wiped down and high-touch surfaces will be sanitized before Weston Kids starts.
Q: What about snacks?
A: At this time we will not be offering snacks at Weston Kids.
Q: Can parents enter the Weston Kids Area?
A: We ask that parents do not enter but drop off/pick up their children in the hall outside the designated area. We will be monitoring hallway traffic and may at times limit the amount of people in the hallways for everyone’s safety and wellbeing. We are encouraging (whenever possible) just one parent or guardian to enter for drop-off and pick-up to aid with physical distancing.
Q: What should I do before coming to Church?
A: Please make sure your child uses the washroom before leaving home so there is limited trips. Please make sure to read COVID screening before checking in your child(ren).
It is important to understand that physical distancing and hygiene are a priority ,but cannot always be maintained with preschool and elementary children, therefore by registering and bringing your children, you are acknowledging that you understand the risk of transmission in these environments. The public health measures are not meant to guarantee safety. They are intended to reduce the risk of transmission through enhanced screening and to contain any exposure by limiting group size.
If you have any other concerns not listed here, please contact Pastor Miguel at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Your first visit
Here's what to expect when visiting Weston for the first time:
First, find the area marked Weston Kids. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Email address
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
How check-in/check-out works
Before Service: You can check-in your child at the Weston Kids Check-in/Check-out area, located on the lower level. A volunteer will be happy to help you with the check-in process. Once checked in, you and your child will be given a matching tag with a code that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag. Note: We ask that one parent/legal guardian checks their child(ren) into Weston Kids. Check-in will be open until 10 minutes (10:40am) after the service begins. No child(ren) will be permitted to attend Weston Kids.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return the Weston Kids Check-in/Check-out area (located on the lower level) and show your tag in order for your child(ren) to be released back to you. Note: We ask that one parent/legal guardian picks up their child(ren).
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and make your way to your child’s room.
A Parent's Room is available for mothers and fathers with infants. This room is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment. The room is equipped with a livestream of the service so you can follow along with the service.
